We have just 3 days until........................... SUMMMMMERRRRRRR!!!!!!! I am so excited! Baseball 24/7!!! Can't wait! But school is not over yet. We still have to do a play, and don't get me started on my part in it. I don't want to be reminded. PLEASE!
My favorite book that we had to read this year is Kensukes Kingdom. I thought is was a good story and easy to understand.
My least favorite was Island of the Blue Dolphins. It was just plain BAD.
I see my self making progress........ in having more confidence in reading out loud. In the beginning of the year it horrified me, but not any more!
We just finshed reading the book " Rainbow People " This was a book filled with 20 mini chinese folktales. On the blog we would have a conversaition about each stories. A kid would lead one of them. I led " The old jar" I tHINK I did good. I posted some really good questions. In class I lead " The eel's discuise" Again, good questions.
I think That I did good on this last book. My best things were the essay and the project.

This I Believe
I think that my "This I Believe" assignment was very good. I worked really hard on the whole thing. I had the best time doing my personal essay, not a book character. The 1st glog it my personal one. The second one is my character's Micheal. I think my best work was my personal essay, witch is on my glog. I believe that my worst work was commenting on edmodo. I just needed to put a little more effort into it.
Maniac Magge
I think I did good work on the book Maniac Magge but it could of been better. I think my best work was the final blog post. I think I worked really hard and put in alot a detail and effort. I think to make it even better I could of made it a little bit longer and have even more detail. I think I need to get better in the class discussions. I need to have more ideas and speek up more. Thats my plan for the next book. Here is my final blog post:

Grunt, grunt, grunt, grunt. Here’s the translation:
So, I had just woke up and had my breakfast so I started to walk around my pen. Then, lying in the hay I saw the weirdest animal ever. He looked like one of those thinks that always looks at me and goes “ Wow! That thing is so rad!”, but I was not sure. I didn’t know what to think because those things are strange. Some of them are little and nice. Some are old and wrinkled. Some have a little white thing that smoke comes out of. I don’t like the ones with the smoke. They make me sick. I sniffed him all around. He smelled pretty nasty but there was no smoke. That made me very happy. Perhaps this thing was nice! But it was not moving. What if it was dead!!! Then I would never know if it was nice! I hope he is not dead. I crossed my hooves and wondered. Wait… he woke up! HORRAY! The thing on his top was ripped and he looked kind of scared. I wished that I could talk. If I could I would tell him that I was nice and I want to be his friend. That’s when my friend the Grayson man came over. At first he looked kind of stunned but then he took the weird animal! The Grayson man put his hand in the pocket. What if he was getting a smoke thing!!! NOOOOOOO! That would be so bad.I didn’t know what to do! His hand came out. “ Hey”, I said to myself “ That’s just a square that says “Crunch Bar” Well that’s good.I trusted the Grayson man so I walked away. I turned around just in time to see the Grayson man drive away with my new friend. “Later!”, I said. But all they heard was GRUNT! I wish I could talk.

This was my classes first L.A book. I think I did good work but not great. Thats why it was only the first book! Plenty more.... I think. I think I did my best work on the blog comments and the final web. I think on the blog I really put in a lot of detail and effort. On the web it was the last assignment so I wanted to make it really good. I think I did. I need to improve my work on the class discussions. I think I need to pay more attention and have more ideas. My plan for the next book ( if there is one) is to pay more attention and be in the discussion more. Here is one of my blog posts:
"The time is in the 1800′s. The island is shaped like a big fish. The ”fish” has it’s head pointing west and it’s tail pointing east. There is kelp all around the island. There is also a cove. The cove has a beach with white sand. There are rocky ledges all around the shore. To big rocks guard the cove. The island is two leagues long and one league wide. The village lays east of hills on a small mesa, near the cove and a spring. The wind blows almost every day. All of the wind is strong, except the winds from the south."

I read the book Kensukes Kingdom with Lauren and Emma. I think My best work was the big poster in the end.I had alot of good ideas and it was really fun. I think my worst work was the quiz because I was not very focused. I think it would of been better is I was more focused.I think I did a good job in general. The only think would be to listed better. It was less hard in a small group because it is more calm.
